Overview
Once activated, by removing the products foil liner, transfluthrin is passively released as vapor through the products membrane surface into the surrounding space, without the aid of fans or a heat source. Transfluthrin targets the peripheral nervous system in insects. It prevents the closure of voltage-gated sodium channels in the axonal membranes of neurons such that affected neurons cannot repolarize. This disruption of normal functioning leads to repetitive nerve cell discharges in insects, followed by impaired muscle contractions and paralysis.Specifications
